Heat Treatment

Hot-finished tubes need not be heat treated

Cold- finished tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold-finishing at a temperature of 1200°F [650°C] or higher.

ASTM A192 seamless carbon steel boiler tubes are suitable for use in carbon steel boilers and superheaters at high pressures and at minimum thicknesses.Typically used for manufacturing ruthless boiler (working pressure is not greater than 9.8MPa, significant temperature between 450℃~ 650℃), heating surface tube box, economizer, superheater, reheater, boiler water wall, steam pipe, etc..

  • Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric Test
  • Heat Treatment: Min temperature 650.
  • Surface Condition: Free of scale,A slight amount of oxidation will not be considered as scale.
  • Flattening Test, Flaring Test. Flange Test, Hardness Test, Hydrostatic Test

Packing:

  • Bare packing/bundle packing/crate packing/wooden protection at the both sides of tubes and suitably protected for sea-worthly delivery or as requested.
  • The Product marking shall include the ASTM A192 or ASME SA192, size, heat no., Lot No. and Manufacture name or logo.
